Each semester elite students are selected for their superior motivation and sales performance. Team members utilize strategies developed throughout The Sales Program to compete against sales teams from other universities in national competitions.
These students act as liaisons between The Sales Institute and our current corporate partners, and also work closely with faculty in order to develop new corporate sponsorships.
A Proven Track Record
Each spring and fall semesters, The Sales Institute hosts the Seminole Sales Showcase, a semi-annual event that brings together sales students, recruiters and corporate sponsors. In this event the Sales Team members compete against each other in an in-house competition judged by our corporate sponsors for the honor of representing Florida State University at various national collegiate sales competitions.
FSU students have constantly placed in the top 10 in multiple events. For Spring 2015:
- At the Bayou Sales Challenge held at Nicholls State University, the team of Moriah Taliaferro and Jessie Williams one team first place.
- At the National Collegiate Sales competition held at Kennesaw Sate University, the team of Moriah Taliaferro and Jessie Williams one team first runner-up.
