Laird Plastics is one of the largest plastics distributors in North America; however, it’s not our size that sets up apart. Our core values of honesty and integrity, hard work and continuous self-improvement, shared results and best practices and empowerment differentiate us. If you are someone who thrives on excitement, the science of sales and empowerment, someone who “wants the ball with one-minute left of the clock,” we may be a good fit for you.
Whether an internship of full-time employment, we will challenge you to be the best that you can be, providing you resources to develop your sales and leadership skills. We don’t have commissioned salespeople, because a commissioned environment can sometimes be a detriment to a team-oriented environment. Instead, we promote teamwork with a profit sharing model on which all team members participate.
Plastics have had a huge impact in changing our society for the better with materials that are lighter, stronger, more versatile, safer and cheaper than glass, wood and metals. Please view the video to learn more about the industry and who we are. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7-zR_MGg310
